There are two types of membership for the Bwgcolman Future Inc.
For details of current membership fees, please refer to the relevant application form.
Ordinary Membership
Is limited to:
Manburra or Bwgcolman people, direct members of their families or other Palm Island resident having resided on Palm Island for a minimum of 12months immediately prior to application for membership, and their families.
This limit is designed to ensure the organisation remains a community based and focussed group and to maintain an indigenous identity without being exclusively indigenous.
Ordinary Members have the right to vote, run for a position on the Board of Directors and are encouraged to volunteer and be personally involved in the organisation.

Associate Membership
Is unlimited, and available to anyone - individuals, families, community groups and corporations. The membership does not include a right to vote and is more seen as recognition of support for the BFF and the work we are undertaking.
In addition to this Associate Members receive a quarterly newsletter and discounts on merchandise such as the Annual calendar – which for 2006 is titled “Kids of Palm Island”, and features 12 pages of picturesque landscapes and beautiful Palm Island Children!

All new members must be accepted by the Board of Directors at a General Meeting. The Board of Directors reserves the right to refuse membership to any person or organisation, as determined by the Board.
